We conduct clinical trials with strict oversight by an independent ethics committee.
As required by federal law, all research conducted at Portland Clinical Research is reviewed by an Institutional Review Board (IRB). IRBs play an important role in protecting the rights and welfare of volunteers in clinical research trials. To further protect our volunteers, all Portland Clinical Research staff have completed Good Clinical Practice and Human Subject Protection training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) offered through the University of Miami.
