Free Aids and Services
Columbia Allergy provides free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as:
- Qualified sign language interpreters
- Written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats)
Free Language Services
Free language services to people whose primary language is not English, such as:
- Qualified interpreters
- Information written in other languages

Filing a Grievance
If you believe that Columbia Allergy has failed to provide these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of age, race, color, creed, national origin, ethnicity, religion, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, citizenship, or medical condition, you can file a grievance with the Patient's Rights Coordinator by mail or email:

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Columbia Allergy is committed to providing equal access to patients, family members, and companions with disabilities. To ensure effective communication, Columbia Allergy provides qualified sign language and oral interpreters, and other auxiliary aids and services free of charge for patients, family members, and companions who have a hearing, vision, or speech disability.
To request auxiliary aids or services, please speak to your local office staff and if they are not able to promptly resolve your request, reach out to the Columbia Allergy Patient's Right Coordinator via email: ADA@columbiaallergy.com
If an auxiliary aid or service is denied, you can request a reconsideration by providing a written statement explaining why you need the aid or service that was denied. If needed, any ADA Communication Services Columbia Allergy personnel can help write down your request for reconsideration.
