Spirobank Pro Device
COVID can be especially scary for patients suffering from respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD or a chronic cough. With restrictions due to COVID, it can be difficult to accurately diagnose respiratory conditions and to monitor lung function. Columbia Allergy has partnered with Interaction Management for Patients and Doctors (impad) Personalized Health Technology to bring you the Spirobank Pro remote spirometry device. This device can be used to remotely monitor your lung function and allows you to manage your respiratory conditions through telehealth.
If you are an existing Columbia Allergy patient, book an appointment with your provider to see if this device is right for you! You will need to obtain a prescription in order to purchase this device online or in the office. Once purchased, the device will be shipped to your home and you can book a televisit with one of our nurses to receive training on proper use of the device! The device tracks your test results on an app. Before the visit with your provider, plan to electronically send your results so they can be reviewed during your appointment. This device can be used over and over again to monitor your lung function throughout the year.
If you are new to Columbia Allergy, book a consultation with one of our providers to see if the Spirobank Pro device is a good option for you!
