Rhinoscopy
Rhinoscopy is a diagnostic procedure our providers use to take a closer look at the nasal and sinus passageways. This procedure can be useful in identifying the cause of frequent sinus infections or nasal congestion. This procedure is done in the office by our specially trained providers. During the procedure, a nasal endoscopy scope is inserted into a numbed nasal passageway and guided through the sinuses. Your provider is looking for signs of swelling, irritation, infection and for obstructions such as nasal polyps. After the procedure, your provider will create a new plan of treatment for you depending on what was visualized during the procedure.
